Falling Light unfolds in layers of paint, each one settling into the weave of the canvas rather than sitting on top.
The palette is spare: just enough colour to suggest light moving through space, shifting as the day moves. It's the kind of painting that doesn't demand attention. It earns it quietly, revealing something different each time you look.
Size: 105 x 105 cm
Medium: Acrylic on raw canvas
Choosing a size
Choosing a size
Sizes are the artwork size in centimetres (width x height). A simple guide for most rooms:
- Above a sofa or bed: 100cm wide, or a pair of 60cm prints side by side.
- Above a sideboard, console or desk: 80cm wide.
- Hallways, nooks and bedside walls: 40 to 60cm.
Aim for the artwork to fill around two thirds of the width of the furniture beneath it, and hang it so the centre sits about 150cm from the floor.
Not sure? Send me a photo of your wall and I will happily help you choose.
